For over five years, The Palestinian Motor Sports and Motorcycle Federation has constructed temporary tracks around major cities in the West Bank. Now, The Speed Sisters, are ready to share details about their participation in racing cars.
Currently, the first all-women’s racing team are raising money through a new crowdfunding campaign on Crowdhoster, to create a documentary about their adventures. Inside the campaign’s promotional video, director Amber gives viewers an inside look at Noor, Betty, Maysoon, Mona and Marah at the organization and the group. “Speed Sisters is the first all-women race car driving team in the Middle East. They’re bold. They’re fearless. And they’re tearing up tracks all over Palestine.”
Also discussing an upcoming documentary, producer Jessica noted,”[It will have] 500 hours of footage, 20 races, dozens of checkpoints, five determined women and too many life threatening race rides to count.”
