Concert Crowdfunding Platform RABBL Announces New Service

RABBLSharing exciting news to its fans, leader of crowdfunding in concerts and the world’s first social booking platform, RABBL announced earlier this week its’ latest website addition, Fan Rabbls. The new service will allow fans to prove real demand for their favorite musicans and puts them at the center of every booking decision in live music.  RABBL was founded by CEO Wade Lagrone who previously worked at P2P platform Zopa – before the US operations were closed.

Lagrone noted, “Most of our team grew up in small towns so we knowhow hard it is, as music fans in out-of-the-way cities, to catch your favorite bands live without driving hundreds of miles. It’s exciting that we’ve built a free tool that empowers music fans nationwide to see the bands they like in the places they want.”

Wade LagroneIn order to access and create a Fan Rabbl, users can install the free Facebook App direct from RABBL.com. The app allows fans to create a Fan Rabbl by simply inviting the artist. The fan needs to list the city and date for the show, the name of the artist/group, and – if the artist/group isn’t already using RABBL – the artist’s booking or management’s email address.

Using proprietary technology, RABBL can calculate the artist/group’s typical earning and then sends an invitation to the artist/group on behalf of the fan, giving the artist/group a chance to approve, ignore or edit the Fan Rabbl. If the artist/group approves, RABBL will pitch the campaign and fans can vote by reserving tickets. If enough tickets are purchased, the show can be booked. If the concert happen, RABBL adds a small service fee onto the tickets to cover the credit card processing. The fan who requested the show will also receive two free tickets.

RABBL has partnered with leading venues in various venues in Denver, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. Its headquarters is located in San Francisco and serves musicians throughout the U.S.
