On Indiegogo: DopaMINE, A Case For Your Bitcoin Mining Rig

If you’re still trying to make sense of how cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin work, you aren’t alone. It may be worth learning; It isn’t every day that a new technology comes along with the power to disrupt a basic tenet of life on Earth. (I’m looking at you, paper money.)

In the Bitcoin world, mining can be somewhat hard to understand. Spend a couple of minutes and watch this video from bitcoinmining.com, which does a better job explaining than I ever could…

So there you go. In the early days, mining was relatively easy and many a geek made a hefty ransom mining Bitcoin. Today, it is a lot harder as the network is more mature and there is more Bitcoin in circulation.

Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin and many others have been in the headlines for what seems like an eternity now – but surprisingly not a single reputable PC case company has come to the table with dedicated cases that have been optimized and tailored for mining – and those few “cases” (mostly cobbled together using a complex and confusing series of metal rods) that do exist are extremely expensive for what you receive, difficult to assemble, and the majority of them are a complete eyesore.

Red Harbinger is the company behind the product. They are also responsible for the incredible Cross Desk, so they definitely have some chops.

Case preorders are currently available for $229. The campaign is seeking $20,000 of funding and has reached $14,000 and change at the time of writing with 40 days to go, so prospects are very good.
