Teespring is a Y Combinator alum and has seen some pretty insane growth early in its lifecycle, so it is no huge surprise that one of the largest VC firms in the country has taken an interest. A profile in USA Today alludes to Teespring having ambitions to move beyond t-shirts and into other goods. Perhaps they’re aiming to be the crowdfunded CafePress?

It isn’t the first crowdfunding-related company Andreessen Horowitz has invested in. Crowdtilt raised $23 million in a Series B round led by the firm last year.
