UK-based renewable energy crowdfunding platform Abundance Generation has announced a partnership with CCgroup. CCgroup is a UK-based PR agency with an embedded cleantech department. That department has reportedly been briefed on Abundance Generation’s model and will help in publicizing investment opportunities on the platform.

Abundance Generation has raised over £3.5 million for six renewable energy projects across the UK since inception. There are 20 live projects on the site now. Abundance Generation is a lending-based crowdfunding play. We have more details on their model in a previously published breakdown. Abundance Generation offers debentures, or collateral-free loans. Only returns from these loans are subject to taxation.
